Day tour

Spend the day with our team of fishermen, artisans, and foragers. Experience the eclectic terrain and end with Chef Rodrigo for a course menu at Bocavaldivia. Be a part of an adventure from the sea to the cloud forest, for a tangible encounter of Ecuador’s biodiversity and its importance for the future. An exclusive lunch at Bocavaldivia will complete your day tour. The menu will encapsulate Chef Rodrigo Pacheco’s work through his award winning gastronomy. You will feel how food can contribute to a thriving planet.

University

Make a pilgrimage to Puerto Cayo, Manabí, Ecuador to study with Chef Rodrigo Pacheco and the indigenous people of the region to learn about biodiversity, ecosystems, and why food can be the central ingredient to saving the planet. Spend 5 days following a structured curriculum crafted around the nuances of Ecuador’s climate, terrain, and sea. Each day will promote a personal connection to the environment.

A 5 day immersive experience, learning the art of foraging, fishing, harvesting, and cooking. The program includes personal lectures with Chef Rodrigo Pacheco and tips on ancestral techniques.

The University Experience starts at 5 days, and can be extended up to 3 months.
